How will 2018 shape up for you?

It’s the beginning of a new year, the time when we look forward and determine make our lives better than ever. Many of us will have made New Year’s resolutions involving health and fitness – and by now many of us will have already have abandoned them!

Kick-starting your new regime can be hard, but there are some excellent options to help you make 2018 the year you get in shape.

Last year, according to figures from Twitter, the top 5 resolutions were to exercise and diet, read more, learn a new skill, save money and be a nicer person. These are all positive choices, but despite this only 8% of us will keep our resolutions – why?

The reality is that the majority of us have the best of intentions, but we choose unsuitable targets. We go for the miraculous, rather than the manageable and quickly become disheartened when reality hits home. There is nothing wrong with aiming high of course, we just need to set the right goals.
